Configure SE?

I received the new SAS/C v6.50 on the 19th and just now have had the time to open it up. Nice upgrade! I am attempting to configure SE. Specifically the arexx macros indent.se and unindent.se. I would like to use the Tab and shift Tab key for these functions. I cobbled together some arexx code which will act like both the tab key and indent macro, but even if no tab is marked (but one was at some time) the block beginning works even when SE returns a error message saying that the block was impropterly marked. (per manual used ctrl[ ctrl] ). Question, is there a way to determine if a block is marked without affecting the cursor position. The GE ( get error) does flag the error but the cursor still moves. While it is possible to get the cursor location first this seem kludgy.

James, Unfortunately, I can't answer this question, since I don't know enough about SE. (Even though I use it all the time!) Please contact technical support as described in Chapter 3 of your User's Guide, Volume I and they will be able to find the answer. You can get to EMITS from compuserve, although I can never remember the syntax for getting internet mail out – one of the sysops here should be able to tell you. –Doug
