So, Does anyone know when the update to Vista Pro, will be out. Also, does anyone know how to make your own paths in Vista Pro 3.0. I have the add on Morphing module for it , but there must be an easier way to make a path. Fred N.

Fredrik, Everyone involved in the Vistapro 3.1 release has different types of tape drives so we're having trouble getting all the pieces to one place! (3.1 will come on CD-ROM.) That problem should be solved sometime this week so the release is a week or two away at best. The easiest method of producing Vistapro animation scripts is to use MakePath, also available from VRLI. You might as well wait for the 3.1 CD-ROM since it will include MakePath. Also included is a program that can translate 3D Studio's camera VUE files into Vistapro scripts. This makes it very easy to "synchronize" VP3 and 3DS. John.

Fred: I expect that there will be an interim update to VistaPro (3.1) shortly. I don't know what the official schedule is, but I don't think it will be very long from now, just a matter of weeks. There will be a CD release which will contain VistaPro 3.1, MakePath, VistaMorph and loads of landscapes (several thousand, I think). There is a program called MakePath – Flight Director which is used to make complex animation paths for use with VistaMorph and VistaPro. It has a point and click interface, and it's just about as easy as drawing the path with a mouse. Clint <VRLI>

Clint – What sort of price will there be on the CD for those of us who have MakePath and VistaMorph and VP 3.0 already? David Taffet

It's a 3D fractal landscape generator. I like it. Others don't. In a few weeks I hope to upload a still or VERY short flic of an animation I've used it in. Folks unfamiliar with it can check out its output then. DT

John, You can download a functional demo version of Vistapro from DL 15 of GraphAVen, GO VRLI for short. The demo is called VP3DMO.EXE. John.

John: There is a demo version of VistaPro over in the GraphAVend forum, Lib 15 (GO VRLI). A picture (or rendering) is worth a thousand words. <grin> Clint <VRLI>

David: I don't have any pricing info, other than that I know that there will be an upgrade path for those who already have VP, VM and MP. I will let everyone know once I find out for certain what it will be, and I imagine John will as well. Clint <VRLI>
