WOW! I wish I had NTSC but over here in Europe the PAL system renders the
Toaster inoperative (near as damit!) Lucky you, I'd love to see the machine
you're upgrading to. Hope its a 4000/40 * IcE *
Yes I upgraded to the T4000 platform and it's quite nice, although a
tad overpriced because of the cost of memory at the moment. 18 megs
is what I have and I use every ounce of it!
BTW, there is a company called Prime Image here in the states that sells a TBC
card that also does standards conversion. There have been reports of people in
the UK using NTSC amiga/toaster systems with these card based TBCs to do
Toaster production and output Lightwave animations. I imagine that the main
thing besides the video standards issue to overcome is the appropriate power
source for the computer system, should be an easy problem to solve though.
