Morphplus problem
3 messages in this thread
I am having difficulty morphing from one image to another. When all
options have been entered into the apporpriate file requesters, and
after creating the necessary vectors between two images (in a still
morph) I choose the Accept item from the menu.
When the program begins morphing the source image (at frame 1) the
following error is encountered:
The WARP operator failed
"System 3.0:owl.pic" — sample image from you
"Module Not Found"
The program was morphing fine until today (in fact I have done dozens
of succesful morphs until this morning). I loaded the program and
tried morphing two images and kept on receiving the above error with
the exception that the image name was different.
I reloaded Morph Plus and continued to receive the error. I deleted
the entire program and reloaded it and still continue to receive the
error. I decided to load the sample images you provide for morphing
the baby face into an owl and still received the above error.
What is going on? Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong
as soon as possible as a particular part of a current video I am
working on requires morphing.
I suspect that Morph plus believes owl.pic to be a picture stored in PICT
format because of the .pic extension to the name. Try renaming the file to OWL
and loading it with the IFF loader. If You load pictures with the UNIVERSAL
loader Morph plus takes the file name in to account when trying to guess the
file formay of the image.
Hope this helps
I finally got a hold of ASDG technical support. Acutally the problem was
within the startup sequence. Somehow the data within the sequence was not able
to find the Warp operator.
It turned out that the startup script was trying to load Morph Plus twice.
Chris from ASDG's tech support walked me though it and had me modify the script
using the text editor (he was a real nice guy and even agreed to stay late on
Friday to help me out).
Thanks for the help though. I am glad that I can count on forum members to
offer suggestions and hints.
Morph till you can morph no more.
