Hello, I am a new CompuServe member, and a new 3D Studio user as well. I'm hoping that someone here can help me with this irratating problem. When trying to view .FLC and .GIF files in the Ani Pro Animation Player, I'm "in too close". Going to Screen Size produces this message in a dialogue box. "Can't Querry Module ""DLDVG256.DRV"" Entry Ignored: Driver isn't Rex relocatable executable. Not a driver." I must then click CONTINUE about 4 or 5 times to get the Screen Size menu back. At that point, when I pick either one of the Panacea drivers listed (I'm using Panacea's Turbo DLD Classic driver) I'm kicked out to DOS with this DOS message. "Can't open screen with driver 8514/a.DRV 8514/a adapter not found." Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there any other ways to play my 3D Studio animations on IBM computers without using 3D Studio? Your responses are anxiously awaited!

Tim, What video card are you using? I always recommend VESA support for AniPro. Hopefully your card will either have it's own VESA driver, or can use one of the drivers located in the VESA subdirectory. Also, be sure to copy the VESA AniPro driver into you RESOURCE subdirectory. Should fix you right up! Chuck

You can use the hi-res flc player called AAPLAYHI (should come with AniPro). You've probably got a memory conflict somewhere, or the drivers are incompatible with your graphics adapter. You may want to try the VESA drivers that come with AniPro if you've got a VESA compatible graphics card. If you can't get it to work, then post your hardware, config.sys, and autoexec.bat files and I'll take a shot at the problem. John Tissavary (La Luna cie)
