#MaxiPlan Plus
8 messages in this thread
I've just purchased MaxiPlan Plus and am guruing constantly. I have an Amiga
1000 and the program comes set up on a 500/2000 workbench disk. Is the 1000
incompatible with the 500/2000 workbench? I'm also running FaccII by ASDG
and Screenblanker2 by MicroSmiths, inc. Any suggestions as to the most
likely culprit?
Thanks, George Glines
George,
There should be no problem running from an A500/A2000 WB disk
presuming you are using KS 1.2 also.
Does MaxiPlan GURU at any consistent place or just at random? Also,
to figure out which of the other programs may be causing a problem, remove
them one at a time and see if things improve.
Don
MaxiPlan gurus at random, I am trying all possible combinations of programs
to see if I can find a consistent pattern. I was hoping there was a known
compatibility problem between Maxi and a program I was running…now I'll
have to find it the hard way <grin>.
Thanks, George
George,
From another message…seems that MaxiPlan Plus has some serious
bugs…it's not your other software.
Don
George,
I too use Maxiplan Plus, and have found myself locked up for a
variety of weird reasons. The program, at least the version I have is
definately buggy. When I called Oxxi, they said that most (if not all) of
the bugs were handled in the latest version of MaxiPlan Plus. You might want
to give them a call and check that you have this latest version. I haven't
received my upgrade as of yet so I can't comment on if they have fixed the
bugs.
I find it to be an excellent spreadsheet, feature wise, but they do
need to do a lot of work cleaning it up.

Thanks for the reply John. I hate it when I'm the only one to find bugs in
programs..it makes you doubt your sanity <grin>. I'll give them a call.
George
George, I have the latest version too (1.8) and works fine.

MaxiPlan likes memory. How much RAM do you have on your 1000? I use
MaxiPlan Plus on my 1000 with 1.5MB with no problem.
