#Opinion – DevWare

Recently I sent an order to an outfit called DevWare – ordering some
software they advertised in "AMIGA WORLD". Nothing has happened for
two weeks. Sent them a FAX asking about my order – but no reply to
that! Has anyone had dealings with DevWare ? If so… how did it go
and what is your opinion of that outfit ?
It's been awhile (like at least a year) since I've ordered anything
from them, but I had no problems in the past.
I recently ordered a program from DevWare also. Its been about two
weeks but they did call me to verify some address information and
said it would take about 10 business days to ship the order. I expect
to recieve it this week… I'll let you know.

I recently received my order from DevWare when they promised. Hopefully
your order will be ok.

Same for me Hilary. I have ordered from them in the past without
problem.
With the market as tight as it is, many distributors can no longer afford the
risk of keeping product in stock, and they play games to satisfy customers that
product will ship quickly, but as soon as they get an order, they'll pass it
along to the developer, who might take a couple days to deliver it to them. I
am NOT stating that this is the case with DevWare – but it is a common scenario
at many places.
I have ordered from DevWare often, and always had fast, accurate service. I
hope your experience is a fluke.
