Dan, Gary and the Yosters – Hedra is very cool. Thanks for the gift. As the instigator of the polyhedron discussions I wanted to express my appreciation for the time invested for a tool basically useless for architectural walkthroughs and most other practical uses. It is a *trip* to see the relationships between icosahedrons and dodecahedrons and other members of families! Whoda thunk it?

Thanks for appreciating it, David. Hedra.pxp was a labor of love for Dan… he's always wanted those polyhedra as modeling elements within 3DS.

>>he's always wanted those polyhedra as modeling elements within 3DS. Now how about "metaballs"? Maybe DannyM's globule generator will get close! Can't wait to check it out!

Yeah, but if you guys keep making every IPAS routine that someone suggests on this forum, there won't be any for the rest of us to make. 🙂

Don't worry about _that_. With the infinite amount of opportunities for IPAS routines, we can only bite off a tiny chunk. – G

I'll try to stay ahead of you! I do still have a few ideas lurking, beyond simple loaders / savers. For R4, I'd love to see a more clearcut interface for third-party loader / savers.
