Thanks… Since my investigation has started, I have heard that AmigaNOS is faster than TCP… what are your views if you are familiar with it?

Jonathan, AmigaNOS IS TCP, as well as IP, UDP, etc; etc; et cetera. I don't know what you are comparing, but I use AmigaNOS (John Heaton's and Graham Walter's with Gopher client) just about every day. What are you trying to compare ? Jim, I'm trying to compare to the Mac software I have to use right now called Homenet. I have just obtained a config file that another person uses to access the same system that I will have to. The only trouble is that I have to edit the IP address everytime I log on because it is different each time I log on. What gopher client software are you using? Where can I get it? That would help tremendously! Thanks, Jonathan Schmidt – On AutoPilot from CompuServe Land
