I have Autodesk Animator pro, a copy of Aaplay for windows and a copy of Aaplay for dos. I need a play program that will play scrip file created in Animator Pro to run on a 286 computer. Ani Pro needs 386 and better and Aaplay for DOS will not read my scrip files created in Ani Pro. The Aaplay I have was downloaded off CSI my not be complete. I am showing PCX, FLI and FLC files and would like to run on just about any system in the real world. Any help is mush needed. Dave

With the players available from Autodesk, you will have some limitations. With AAPLAY you will be able to run on a 286, however you will not be able to play the FLC files, only the FLI. (Which, if you are going for maximum compatability with the most number of systems, should probably be what you should use.) If you use ANIPLAY, you can play the FLC files, assuming each system you play it on has the proper video driver loaded, however, you need a 386 or better. -Brian

How or what do I do to get AAPLAY to read a script file for ANIPLAY. I seem to get an error when I type AAPLAY and the file name. Dave

There are different options available for the ANIPLAY script files. If any of those are present in the script, it will not work. Only a basic script that lists the files would be usable in both, for transitions, options, memory loads, etc. you will have to edit the script to match the parameters of AAPLAY. -Brian

Dave, AAPLAY does not support keychoice. Sorry. Only ANIPLAY or AAPLAYHI. -Brian
