#Blur?-Shadow?

Has anyone experimented with Shadowing AND motion blur ina scene. I have to render a roller-coaster that has both motion blur and shadows and I don't think it's possible. As I see it, a stick waving with motion blur creates several sticks (say 8) that are averaged between to create a blurred image. These 8 sticks all cast shadows upon eachother and a black shadow sludge appears in the center. Is there a way around this (or alternately : am I a loon and I'm wrong?)? Thanks Glenn (home from the States) Melenhorst.

Glenn, I think I've already mentioned this to you, but shadowed motion-blurred objects will ALWAYS cast shadows on each other. – G

Glenn – I'm no expert, here, but what about a rendering with one shadowed stick video posted over a blurred one without shadows? David Taffet
