Its really quite a hassle to not be able to morph between objects with different numbers of points. I mean there is no feature to reduce points on a specified object to a specified number of points. Will 3.0 be able to morph objects w/different point counts? Thanks BRad Block 72723,2271

Brad, It might be a hassel but its an even greater problem with making the software do this. Consider this, Each point of an object has a number or a name. It also has a 3D address in 3D space. If you are missing one from one object to the next the software has no idea of where to put that point in the morph. As soon as we can figure out something we will do it. I have done this but I take the largest object and then add that many points faces and edges to the next or smaller object. I do this by reducing the size of the new faces and so forth and putting them in the middle of the object. Its ok if the morph is quick, if it is real slow, it looks like garbage but at least it is a way to do it. As we get smarter we will probably come up with something but not real soon, Sorry. Mike
