Dear John Tissavary, Thanks for the advice on qemm, but it turns out that qemm is not my only problem. I put my system back the way it was with qemm 6.0 and dos 6.0, all was well, then i tried qemm7.0 again with your advice, i even got the patches to bring it up to 7.03, i removed the dmpi.sys line and that did the trick!.All was working well with qemm 7.03 and DOS 6.0. I was felling lucky so i atempted upgrading DOS to 6.2, well that was a big mistake, ani pro wouldn't load and the studio did the same thing. Both programes started to load then the screen went black!! and the only way out was to reboot. Any ideas on what dos 6.2 is doing that these programs don't like. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks for your previous advice it really saved me a lot of time. Thanks Again, Tony Gallorini

Tony, Excuse me for butting in here, but I am running DOS 6.2 and Qemm 7.0 and have never had a problem. I don't have AAPRO so I can't comment on that. I never had a problem with DOS 6.0 either. Just thought I'd throw another stick in the spokes (g). Merlin

John, I am also using QEMM 7.03 but I am using DOS 5.0. When I try to go into AAPRO 1.3, my streen goes black and I have to reboot. I am just fine in 3ds 3.0. When I take out qemm then I can get into AAPRO just fine. This is not a solution. I wish I could be of more help. But I think the problem is with QEMM not DOS 6.2. Stephen

There is no problem with QEMM — I'm using 7.03, DOS 5.0 and AAP (&3DS) with no problems. If you are loading DPMI, then that is the culprit — the Phar Lap extender in AAP doesn't support or like DPMI. The new 3DSr3 Phar Lap does support it, and thus doesn't have a problem. Dave

I have Qemm7 and Dos 6.2. 3DS3 runs fine, but Ani Pro 1.3 won't boot. I get an abnormal program termination when it tries to boot. If I reboot with a vanilla config, it will run ok, so it must be on the QEMM side…
