Hi, I'm animating a dog talking (LIB 9) and I've used TUBER on it's arms but they cast no shadow. Is there a way to cheat this? Thanks. Glenn Melenhorst

How about stand-in object with a 100% transparent material that casts shadows, Glenn? -Alan Iglesias

glenn: I saw your DOG.FLI. Real nice work! A pub setting should work quite well for two conversing dogs. In reference to your shadow problem, have you checked out TUBARRAY.3DS that came with TUBER2? After rendering a single frame in the keyframer, I saw that the shadows worked fine. Maybe there's something in that file which might help… -Tom

Tom, I've downloaded TUBARRAY.3DS but have yet to look at it. Thanks for the info. Glenn.

You shouldn't have to cheat that, Glenn. Tuber works fine with shadows. BTW, check out tuber2.zip in DL9 (along with hedra.zip). They both belong in your process path! – G
