Does anyone know whether a SCSI-2 hard drive will work with the SCSI
controller built into the A3000?

Yes no problem.
Tested Maxtor, Micropolis, Toshiba and Qauntum 1-1.2 Gb SCSI 2 disks.
I think that you should have HDtoolbox 2.22 from the 2.1 wb.

Thanks for the feedback, Geir. I hadn't thought about doing the 2.1 wb
upgrade when going SCSI-2. Hmmm, while I'm in there, maybe I should put a
few more memory chips on the motherboard…….
