Windows NT ships with a P9000 driver that will work with the Viper. The Viper VLB drivers that ship with NT do not work properly with an revision of the Viper. With the P9000 drivers that test does not work properly on some Viper cards. If you select yes anyway the Viper drivers should work properly with your Viper. Do NOT install the drivers listed as Viper as they will not work. –Wayne Johnson Diamond Multimmedia Systems' ES Dept.

I get a scrambled screen with the generic Weitek P9000 drivers…about every third scan line is "ok" but the lines above and below the "good" lines are shifted to the left and right. It looks identical to the symptoms some of the early OS/2 drivers exhibited on my 1M A4 card. If it hasn't scrolled already, see my message #99701 and a reply by Robert S. White (76166,1137) #100104. I would appreciate any suggestions. -Thanks -Randy Weems <Red Herring Corp.> -21:12 11/28/94

I don't beleive that Viper or the P9000 drivers supplied by Microsoft supports a 1 mb Viper card. We do not have an a Windows NT 3.5 driver at this time. –Wayne Johnson Diamond Multimmedia Systems' ES Dept.

Can you tell me when/if there will be NT 3.5 drivers from Diamond for the Viper. In the mean time, what else can I do besides use the VGA drivers at 800×600?
