I've had that problem. The NEC plug pins are too small for the 24x card
connector. Someone on internet suggested slightly crushing the pins on the NEC
cable with a needle nose pliers. *I`m* not suggesting it, just passing it
along. I was afraid to try it.
And I am having the same problem with flickering, only mine is in most program
programs — WordPerfect 6, Windows in Pagemaker and photoStyler. Mine is a
light blue flicker. Mine is on a MAGLX1564, so I am not convinced about the pin
theory. I too would appreciate assistance.
