I just upgraded from QuickBooks for DOS to Windows.
Data point for all DOS afficianados: my old \QBOOKS directory tree consumed
about 5 megs of hard disk, the new \QBOOKSW directory takes up 15 meg with the
converted data files.
John,
When you convert from QuickBooks for DOS to Windows QuickBooks, the program and
data will at least double in size. The QuickBooks for Windows program has more
options and features then the DOS version, therefore you will see an increase
in the amount of hard drive being used.
