I am interested in 2D animation on an IBM PC. I heard that the autodesk
animator product had all the things I am looking for. Currently, I am running
on a 486DX-40 with 8 meg (looking to expand to 16 or 20 meg soon), superVGA 14"
monitor and 270 meg (just purchased a 1.2 gig IDE drive). Is this config
acceptable for autodesk?
Where can I email, voice line, or snail mail for more info on the product (I
didn't find a press release in the library)? How much is it now, (if it is
over $600 is there a scaled down version I can get)? I'd appreciate any info.

Our currently shipping 2D animation software is Animator Pro, and the retail
price is $795. If you wan't more information, you can call 800-964-6432 to find
a dealer in your area.
We no longer produce the original software called ANIMATOR or MULTIMEDIA
EXPLORER. (these two are the same program, but explorer comes with a CD-ROM
full of animation clips.) However, if you look around you might find a store
which still has some copies of one of these on their shelves. usually these
will sell in the retail stores anywhere from $99 to $199.

List price for AAPro is $795. We used to sell Multimedia Explorer, confined to
320x200x256 which was cheaper but you might only find that as older stock in a
software store. There may be variations on the price; I don't know. Call to
find a dealer in your area: 800/964-6432.

Brian and I have since looked at the Animator Studio Press release and
