I have just purchased a PAR, but cannot work out from the manual how to get
network rendering happening with 3DS 4.0
I am currently network rendering TGA's to the servers hard disk, but how can I
net render to the PAR's HD?
Any help appreciated…

you cannot directly use network rendering to the PAR because the images would
be received in the wrong order. You need a utility which waits for the right
frame to be available and then copies it to the PAR drive in the right
sequence. Greg Pyros (Pyros Pictures) sells such a utility or you could write
your own if your can program.
