HEADER.C FOR AAPLAY.DLL
4 messages in this thread
purchased PIXAR TYPESTRY and received also AAPLAY.DLL – when reading
the associated Help-File about functions of AAPLAY i learned that a HEADER.C
is required for C/C++ or related languages. i am programming in Visual Objects
of Computer Associates and i can include original C or C++ source. already
downloaded here the VBPLAY.TXT twice (one for Pascal 7.0 and one for
Visual Basic) but its not what i actually need. Can you enable me to download
HEADER.C and a sample source in C/C++ quickly ? would urgently like to
try it in Visual Objects.
By the way : do i have to consider copyrights etc when i sell my own programs
which would include AAPLAY.DLL and its functions ?
great if you could answer me asap. thanks and best regards Arno Becker
Sorry, you can't get the developers kit on-line, it has a lot of manuals.
However the header files you are looking for are there.
The Animation Support Libraries. This developers kit includes C and Visual
Basic Programmers reference manuals for the Windows Player, Fliclib and File
Format manuals, Code examples and other support files, POCO and POE reference
manuals, and more. You can order this kit directly from Autodesk by calling
800-964-6432. The kit costs about $25.

If you are freely distributing your program, you can distribute ours as well.
If this is a commercial application (i.e. being re-sold), you need a licence
agreement with Autodesk. Contact Max Hoffman at 415-332-2344 or
maxwellh@autodesk.com.
