Steve,
Commodore's 3.5" drive can be connected directly to the port on the
BridgeBoard I believe. This would seem to imply that any MS-DOS compatible
drive could be so connected without the need for an additional controller.
There must be someone out there who's done it.

The problem is, I believe, that the DB25 port on the bridgeboard is
configured for an Amiga drive, like the one that came with the Transformer, and
not for just any old drive. I hope I'm wrong.
