Thomas, I've used ProPage with Epson 9-pin and 24-pin printers, a Panasonic laserprinter, and a Canon BJ200. With each of the printers, the width was limited to 8 inches. On single sheets of paper, the length was limited to about 10.5 inches. (The length limits depend on how much margin each model _needs_ to physically control the paper while printing.) These are _hardware_ limits, and any software preference settings that try to ignore them should either kick back to default limits or garbage the printout. For example, with ADPro, I reduced my preferences' width to 7.9 inches with the BJ200. My original Canon driver (BJ10) would occaisonaly add an extra text character at the end of a graphics line. With an 8 inch pref-width, the printer had no room for the extra character on that line, so the printer would put the character on the next line. Each graphic line finishes with a line feed, regardless of width. This was screwing my graphics printouts with skip lines — until I reduced the pref-width by one text character. When I need print layouts wider than 8 inches from ProPage, I set the "Autotile" button on the dot matrix output requester, then cut and glue sheets together. I also use the tile feature in ADPro to do oversize graphics. If you want to avoid cut and glue (or cut and tape), I'm afraid you'll need a wide carriage printer. (And $$$). C F Coats –> via AutoPilot
