Can you EMAIL me the specs on the Panasonic WV3100. Is it CCD, if so the
size and number of chips. Is a lens included, if so what are it's specs.

Camera is a Panasonic WV-3100 Industrial single tube camera. Picture quality
is good, but not great. Good for use as a graphics camera for scanning line
art into a switcher.
I haven't got the manual or a sales brochure on the camera. It looks similar to
the Panasonic WV-3170, which I found in an old catalog. The 3170 specs
indicate a 2/3" Newvicon tube with 350 lines resolution. From what I see using
the camera, that's probably true.
As far as sensitivity goes, you can get a color picture, indoors, under decent
lighting conditions. I've shot footage in the office, which has white walls
and flouresecent lighting and the color is decent. Red's are a little pale.
I see you're in Bergenfield. I'm in Rockaway, about 40 minutes west of the GW
Bridge. If you'd like to check it out, give me a call at 201-625-5804 and you
can come on over.

There is a friend of mine looking for a camera, I'll let him know.
Thanks,
