Hi: 3D Studio Applied Release 4 supplement ships Dcember 19. It contains five chapters including: 3 complete tutorials on inverse kinematics (2 character animation, 1 converting rotational motion to linear motion (as in a four stroke engine)). 6 tutorials on the keyscripter – you learn to create scripts for: attraction explosion simple gravity fireworks inputing key data from a file exporting key data from a file 2 tutorials on perspective matching. The book comes with a floppy disk containing all projects and scripts. You can buy the supplement separately for under $20, or with the 3D Studio Applied book for under $50. Inside 3D Studio Release 4 will be out soon with up to the minute sections on R4 and AutoCAD R13 integration. Included will be several Keyscripts for doing previously near-impossible animations. – Phil

Inside 3DS builds on the excellent 3DS tutorial and manual set. It presumes you have a basic foundation and wish to learn/explore more – a lot more <g>. – Phil
