The beta drivers *might* be an issue. The newer drivers which come with R4 support several Cirrus chips, but not the 5434 (I may have the info wrong – can you confirm your comment that your chipset is 534x?) so the support for the Nitro is considered a wishlist comment (based on our current Vibrant drivers, even though it was supported briefly in the beta build). If the driver is an issue, it might be a problem only at a particular resolution. It might help to continue using the beta drivers but at a different resolution. If it's something else (so far I'm expecting it to be!) then it could be a memory issue. This is something that takes a plain boot, etc., to help trap.

Nik, Oops. I meant 5434, not 534x. I was at home when I sent the message and couldn't remember the exact chip number. I'll download the bug report form, as suggested by someone else, and send it in after I do some more testing. I'll try some different resolutions, also. Thanks. Ken

<<I'll download the bug report form, as suggested by someone else, and send it in after I do some more testing>> Great. The bug report form gives us the best source of information. Thank you for taking the time to fill it out. -Brian
