#3DS R4 & Cirrus 534x
3 messages in this thread
The beta drivers *might* be an issue. The newer drivers which come with R4
support several Cirrus chips, but not the 5434 (I may have the info wrong –
can you confirm your comment that your chipset is 534x?) so the support for the
Nitro is considered a wishlist comment (based on our current Vibrant drivers,
even though it was supported briefly in the beta build).
If the driver is an issue, it might be a problem only at a particular
resolution. It might help to continue using the beta drivers but at a
different resolution.
If it's something else (so far I'm expecting it to be!) then it could be a
memory issue. This is something that takes a plain boot, etc., to help trap.
Nik,
Oops. I meant 5434, not 534x. I was at home when I sent the message and
couldn't remember the exact chip number. I'll download the bug report form, as
suggested by someone else, and send it in after I do some more testing. I'll
try some different resolutions, also. Thanks.

Great. The bug report form gives us the best source of information. Thank you
for taking the time to fill it out.
