Don, Are you in Jacksonville, FL (as Jamie Carr's reply implies)? I ask because I live in Jax, FL. I've been seriously considering buying a PAR but I like to see a first hand, real life demo before I shell out that kind of money. Haven't been able to find a single dealer or person in town with a PAR to show it off. Haven't found any 3DS users either. If you'd be willing to show me how you do things with the PAR & let me see what the output looks like, let me know. Thanks, Andrew

What kind on animation do you do? Amateur, professional, or employee? Where are you located? You may find our output services for your renderings of interest. Can do any format up to Betacam SP.

I'm strictly amateur, falling into a category I call "serious hobbiest". I have had a few animations spill over into some presentations I've given as part of my work (I'm a physician). I live in Deerwood and work in Riverside. Mostly, I'm interested in seeing how the PAR works in "real life" (as opposed to the demo tape from DPS), and the sort of quality one can achieve by inputting Hi-8 video (with the TBC IV) and outputting to S-VHS after mixing with some animation. I suspect the quality is sufficient for my purposes but I'd prefer to let my eyeballs be the judge. Unless you know of a dealer I haven't found, it's impossible to find an operational PAR in a Jacksonville store.
