Is it available now? Edgar.

Edgar, Not quite yet. It should ship with the Video Toaster 4.0 Software for the Amiga, and the Windows & Windows/NT — SGI versions I believe are projected to ship in January or maybe early February. The DEC ALPHA and MIPS versions will be along sometime after that. -John

PMFJI, but I'm almost positive that NewTek has plans to release all ported versions AND the Amiga version of LW 4.0 at the same time. I don't work for them, but that's the word I've heard. S.G. Bailey Image Dynamics, Inc.

Stephen, Could be…. I'm not sure where I got the idea that they wouldn't ship all at the same time, however, gosh, Allen must sure be the busy camper if they do. -John

I agree. I don't know how both Allen and Stuart find time to do everything they've done, including the creation of such fine sophisticated software. I'm hoping that corners have not been cut, but I'm pretty confident that the ported versions will stand up against the original Amiga version (except for AREXX…that's another little question mark in my mind). The wonders never cease…gosh I love this industry. Steve S.G. Bailey Image Dynamics, Inc.

Anyone have a number or address for Lightwave? I am Windows based and am already evaling trueSpace, with Topas and 3D Studio on the schedule. I have heard good things about lightwave, but have no current contacts. Ideas?, thanks. Good day and good light, T. Patrick O'Hara (aka. Lightwriter)

You can do more than hear "good things about Lightwave". You can see it in action in SeaQuest, Babylon 5, and quite a few others. The producers of Lightwave (NewTek) will be showing up here shortly. In the meantime you can check out their section in AmigaVendor Forum. -sja

Sorry Danny, I do not understand. You may be asking where there is online art and/or programes to manipulate that art? If you can translate to english I guess you would have… hmmm. Sorry. -John
