Is there an online source of job search information in thge geology field? A geologist friend just laid off after 11 years in one job finds the job search area a little different this time. TIA for any advice.

Sorry, I don't have the address. If you or your friend have Internet access, or can track down someone that has, it might be worth a look. While there check out other states for a similar service. David, There is a jobs listing database on America Online that is searchable using the keyword "Geology". There are usually 2 or 3 jobs listed per week. There is also a database on CIS but I've never been able to figure out how to use it. Jim

Thank you for the AOL suggestion … maybe this is the time to try the free trial offer that seems to fall out of every magazine I open. And I don't know about the jobs database on CIS … where is that?
