Animator does a quick check of available drives while it's initializing. We've
noticed that 3D Studio occasionally runs into this problem, usually cured by
doing a quick DIR of your CD-ROM drive before starting the program. How about
a batch file to start ANI that includes this? (If it works)
A couple of people have updated their MSCDEX files and found the problem gone
with 3D Studio.
OK – I'll try the DIR solution. Sounds like I ought to visit the MSDOS forum
and see if there's an updated MSCDEX also. Thanks guys!
