#VHS patient education

I am a surgeon interested in producing short VHS tapes for preoperative patient
education. My plan was to make a slide show in Harvard Graphics and then
output it onto VHS tape. I would also like to incorporate pictures, short
segments of video (from laparoscopic operations), and anatomy diagrams into the
presentations. Can you refer me to any references that would describe my
hardware and software needs? Do you think this is a good strategy? Are there
new video boards or software programs that would be helpful? Thanks.

You may find the PARTx.ZIP presentations in Library 2 informative on your
situation. PART2.ZIP describes how to put an IBM-type PC together which will
accomplish the task you have outlined. PART3.ZIP describes additional audio
and video components you can add to make a professional looking video for a
less thank professional price.

Do you have a budget in mind for this project? There are a number of
ways that you could go, basically trading money for quality and speed/ ease of
use.
