Our local LPTV station just purchased a used A2000/Toaster. Of course,
no one there knows anything about using it, let alone harnessing its
full potential. Could you and others contribute some ideas on how
they can get educated? Since Commodore closed shop, I'm not sure what
resources are still available, like magazines and users groups (they
are in LaGrange, GA, about 60 miles from Atlanta).
Suggestions on books, video tutorials, etc. would be greatly
appreciated. Also, any trade shows, seminars, and schools that focus
on the Amiga and Toaster education would help. For them, this is a
major investment and they would love to take full advantage of it.

Lee Stranahan does great seminars around the country, Video Toaster
User magazine is a super source of info. You can find quite a bit of
online help and advice in the NewTek section of AmigaVendor Forum
(and probably soon here too). "John da Sysop" is an expert on the
Toaster and I'm sure he'll be able to give you all the help you could
ask for.

Video Toaster User magazine is the premiere source for tips, tricks
and traps as well as all that is new with the Video Toaster. They
can be reached at 1-800-322-2843 for subsriptions. Newstands will
probably have copies as well.
Desktop Images produces a set of about 10 tapes now, covering
everything from the essentials to a two-volume series on Lightwave
Modeler. They can be reached at 1-800-377-1039.
There appears to be at least one dealer in GA. An ACS Computer &
Video at Norcross. Their phone number is 1-404-263-9190. I am not
aware of a user group there, but maybe ACS would know of one.
There is also lots of help available on-line here in the DTV Forum if
they should need it.
