Dear Henry, I have been in contact with David Pleasance at C=UK and he told me that the deposit has been paid in full to the liquidator. Apparently, they are having a creditors meeting on the 21st December. Now CEI are saying that they have made the initial bid – whose telling the truth? I need an urgent response – my magazine deadline is tomorrow. ADAM PHILLIPS News Editor Amiga Computing UK

I'm afraid they're both right – The deposit is non-refundable, according to CEI, and so they both have made valid proposals. Now it's up the the trustees to decide which one is the best. The meeting with the creditors is necessary to make that decision. – Curiouser and curiouser – – Hank/Videology – Where you get all the P.O.M.P. under all Circumstances

Adam — Yes, I think they are both right as has been said here. Both have submitted proposals and checks. I talked with Pleasance today and he was hoping for a decision by the end of the day, but I was able to get nothing from the liquidator or Alex. Maybe we'll all have something on Thursday. Hope it will be in time for your deadline. — Dan
