If you want to see an OS on TV go to TCI channel 28 in Seattle. There's
been a tacky Amiga mouse pointer in the upper left hand corner of the
screen all day. I imagine they're running Scala's software or something.

Arrgh! Maybe you can run over there and enter the following in their
User-Startup file:
;BEGIN Scala
Stack 20000
Work:Scala/MMPlayer >NIL:
;END Scala
That usually fixes the problem, unless they have the "Pointer" option
checkmarked in Scala's "System" menu.

If I knew how to get a hold of them I probably would. It's kinda neat
seeing it's an Amiga, but the pointer does kinda look silly with the rest
of what appears to be good work.
It's the first time I've noticed it so the person who 'accidentally'
clicked the "Pointer" option is probably an Amigoid who just thought he'd
let other Amiga fans know just what system was generating the images.
I just went and checked the channel and it's still there…on second
thought maybe I will try to look them up.

software, they may hire you part-time! Especially if I'm around for technical

I haven't gotten around to it yet, the season's been a bit hectic. That
mouse pointer is still there.
Thanks for the tech support offer. I don't think I'd get a consulting job
based on hassling you for info, but it could be good for a few tips to
them!

Very funny, actually here in stanten island, I've seen it on a couple
of cable channels. You know, that famous Guru meditation screen.
Judging from how slow it was blinking, I'd say they were running a 500 or
something.

To be fair, I've seen Mac's and IBM's on local cable with their systems
crashing in a fairly disgusting way. So, Amiga doesn't have a monopoly on
system failures.
