Paul, > What I'm saying is that it's the woman's body, the woman's choice. You've obviously been brainwashed by feminist propaganda. 😎

Gee, woosh, I feel much better now Dom, thanks for shaking me out of it! You're right – womens' bodies are OUR property! What was I thinking? 8^) Paul – wearing my black construction paper funeral suit

> Gee, woosh, I feel much better now Dom, thanks for shaking me out of it! You're right – womens' bodies are OUR property! What was I thinking? 8^) No need to be sarcastic, Paul. 😎 We just disagree. The fact is that the abortion decision is NOT based at all on the issue that a woman's body is her property. The issue centers on the rights of the unborn fetus and has absolutely nothing to do with women's bodies. Also, this has nothing to do with whether you are for abortion or against it. I was just pointing out that the mere fact that a woman happens to carry the baby is basically irrelevant to the court in determining abortion rights. Abortions are prohibited in months 7-9 of the pregnancy. At that point, is a woman's body any less her property than it was during months 1-6? No, but yet abortions are still illegal during months 7-9. If the issue was women's bodies, then abortions would always be legal. The fact that they are not legal during the third trimester simply shows that women's bodies are not the issue. The court is concerned with the rights of the unborn fetus and not with a woman's body.
