INSIDE, what do you mean, inside is in most cases not abvailable to any
digitizer, except Xrays and NMRI of course it aint that but it does do a great
job on the outside.

Hi Mike,
What I ment was, that if I have I plastic model and want it to have thin
"walls" not doublesided polygons. I have to digitize first outside a car body
and then the Inside ( Of course the body must be opened in the bottom), to get
a thickness of the carbody.

In the case of the car, to give the body a thickness wouldn't you just need to
extrude the entire car body? Seems thats a much quicker way than doing it from
scratch. Of course, if that was just an example to illustrate what you meant,
….nevermind! <g>

Yep, but I still dont know why you would do that, all you would have to
so is exturde the model reduce the second set of points and there you have the
inside if that is what you wanted, but I am sure you knew that anyway, I must
admit that this works only with Imagine and maybe others but I am not sure of
any others but Imagine.
