Hi Jonas,
Here are a couple of wishlist items:
1. Have a visible number (or letter) "tag" on each camera and spotlight so I
can tell which one is which.
2. The ability to select the lights to appear in the KF and Editor instead of
being forced to have no lights or ALL lights appear in the viewports. (Gets
kinda messy sometimes.)
3. The ability to have the light from certain spotlights only visible to a
particular camera. That way you could have different lighting conditions for
each camera in the same scene. E.g., a "night" camera and a "day" camera.
4. A "FIND" feature: the FIND feature is activated, an object is selected by
name, and then that object is automatically positioned at the center of the
active viewport. Once the object is centered — even if it is not visible — it
is easy to zoom directly to the center to find it. (There are many times in
which I can't locate a small object in a big scene. Even when the object is
selected by name (blindly), trying to move it without seeing it is very
frustrating.)
5. The "Scene Info" feature is great but it would be nice to be able to sort
the scene by material: to have the option to group and list all objects having
the same material.

What's up Mr. Forensic? If it got any easier anybody could do it,
including an ignoramus such as myself. Let's hope the powers that be don't
take your request serious. Or everybody and their brother will be shooting
holes through virtual walls and bodies.

Great idea!
I'm willing to lay my wages for December that your other suggestions are
equally brilliant. But I wouldn't really know, `cause I'm just a
cheerleader. <G>

I always thought that "a couple" meant "two." Which two of your wishes do you

P.S. I am a bit bewildered by your statement "I always thought that 'a couple'
meant "two'" The word "always" is defined as "in every instance; forever; all
the time." Does this mean that from the beginning of your existance you
_always_ knew and understood the meaning of the word "couple?" Even during your
short-lived term as a pre-verbal infant? Interesting.
P.P.S. Doesn't Gary have enough work for you to do?
Absolutely right. Pardon my syntax, I should have said: "I thought that 'a
couple' always meant 'two'." And even that's incorrect, since the word "a" is
included in the quotes and certainly has nothing to do with "couple." I'll have
to go off and think about this some…

I made a similar wish back in April, but suggested that the name of the light
or camera would appear on the top or bottom screen-line as the cursor moved
over the icon — but now that I think about it, a better idea is to have one of
those little floating text-boxes to appear under the cursor when you pause over
a light/camera icon — like the Microsoft Office (and others) products do when
you point at toolbar icons in Windows!
I like your Night/Day cameras idea!
