New member here. My interests are Enter-cation. . . others call it edu-tainment. . . I think my term sounds more fun for adults! I write and direct educational videos, among other things. I use desktop video to do off-line edits and computer screen grabs. My productions are then produced by a high-end house (I'm starting to have better capabilities, though, than they do) except I'm still down at the Hi-8 end. I'm partial to FAST and SONY. See you all later on the forum. From the boonies of southern Arizona. Les

Les: I am the editor of Video Pro magazine. I would be interested in hearing more about your work. It sounds like you have an interesting business going on. Just for your info, VP does product reviews, object desktop and traditional equipment analysis (we have a lab that takes up the entire floor of a Manhattan office building) and we have expert columnists that discuss successful creative and business techniques. Drop a line and let me know what you are up to. All next week I'll be at Mac World, but I will get back to you.

Tim: Video Pro. . . the periodical that ignited, like a phoenix, from the pages of Video magazine. I've eagerly watched your growth from the first spark. I have a long history of working in both print and film (now video) and appreciate the quality of your publication; we're looking forward to your first independent issue (to arrive in my mail box soon, I suspect). . . Congratulations! I just happened to come back into CompuServe a second time this morning as I was sending an EDL to a post production facility in Tucson and saw your reply to my message. Thanks to UPS and E-mail I can continue my work, in the boonies 100 miles away, surrounded by mountains and horse ranches. At the moment, I'm pushing at the edge of a deadline, but sometime next week, while you're sorting through the endless vapors at Mac World, I'll drop you a short bio of my business as you requested. Appreciate the contact. Les Siemens
