It looks like the Amiga disk controller circuitry can interpret the Apple bit format (Woz machine) but here's the $64 question…What about drive speed? The Mac (and Lisa) use variable speed drives in an attempt to even out the bit density from inner to outer tracks. I see two possibilities: 1. The Amiga can change drive speed also. (haven't seen information leading to that conclusion) or, 2. The disk controller circuitry can lock onto the different clock rates that would result from reading a Mac disk on a constant speed drive.
