What do you mean, it's already done? If I understood the question
properly, the request was for the ability to put the redirection after the
entire command, like MS-DOS or Unix, rather than needing to put it after
the command but before the arguments. I just tried it the Unix way in my
copy of AShell and it didn't work.
Example:
I want to be able to do LIST C: > T:command-list
but I have to do it as LIST > T:command-list C:
It's very annoying!
I mean, it's already done in the not yeat released next version. This was
implied by the context of earlier exchanges, sorry to have mislead you.
BTW, how important is it to you to have RUN work like it does now? That's
the problem with redirection. Currently, I have it redirected for the
entire command set the same, but maybe I should handle RUN specially?
It's a real pain…

Actually, I'd like to have RUN bagged entirely and the ability to start a
process in the background by typing '&' after the command line.
🙂
Take a look at WShell. It supports the '&' command nicely.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I guess I'm cheap. 🙂
Jim;
Get WShell.
