I resigned from Croftward and my last day there was Jan. 31. I was the last employee. It now consists of Jeannie. That's all! I don't know what will happen in future. Your guess is as good as mine. I can clear up one mystery though: The mags are not sent by alpha or sub#. Second class requires that they be in ZIP code order.

Malcolm … you might be intersted to know that I resigned as editor of Transactor (UK) around the same time. For those that don't know, Transactor UK started as the UK "branch" of Transactor Canada … around the time of the Croftward "rescue", we terminated our contract and produced a TransAmi totally independently (but with the help of many of our friends in the US). We continued bimonthly, and our latest issue (vol2 iss4) was sent out a couple of weeks ago. However, TUK is having its problems too and is currently looking for a backer. Hope is not dead for TUK to continue – but without me, since I never got paid for the 2 years I edited the mag (my choice, since I did it part-time). I guess it all started soon after TransAmi became a separate mag … and then Croftward got involved. I don't hear many good words about them!

Mike, I'll wager you'll hear fewer good words before you hear more. It's all very sad. 🙁 Malcolm
