John, Changing Attributes is independent between Detail and Stage. But the Action editor has information (size, angle, position) that can differ if you change them in the Detail editor. Don

OK, I save an obeject in Detail at 0,0,0 with no rotations. I load it into Stage and, using transform, scale it/move it, etc. When I later go into Action, and perform other transforms on it (size, rotation, etc), shouldn't it use the values I set in Stage as the beginning values? (not the ones saved with the object in Detail) I'm not necessarily saying its so; I have to check this out. I'll post later. But wouldn't above make sense? (hopefully that IS the way Imagine does it) –jp–seattle–

John, I think it should work the way you describe. However, if you go BACK into Detail and change something involving size, angle, or position, since the old settings are in the Action track, your object runs into trouble. You make a big cube with a little axis, put it in Stage and resize it. You go back to Detail and change the size of the axis, or the position, or anything. You move it aside to compare its size to another object, then save it again. It has the old settings in the Action editor. It gets confused. I think. Don
