I'm having the same problem with protocol B so I've just using Y. I don't know if it's as fast but it's better than X.

James, YModem is MUCH slower than CIS QB or B+ protocol (on the order of half as fast). Grab a copy of JRComm or Access in Lib 5 of this forum. -sja

Have you tried calling PP&S about it? The guy I talked to sounded like the janitor instead of a technical service rep. He didn't even know what CIS B protocol was. He said he would talk to the programmers and call be back. I'm still waiting. Baud Bandit came highly recommended by my local software store. I guess I had better let them know about these problems (if they don't already know).

James. QuickB or B+ protocols are the fastest you can have on CompuServe. ZModem is the nearest to them in speed, and it is not available here. XModem is the slowest and least dependable of all. Betty
