Thanks for the quick response. Where can I find the 4.00 (not the 4.01) version of virusX. I need to check for virus in my hard disk as well as floppies. Other advice on virus control would be greatly appreciated. Shalom

Shalom, Fred Fish disk #287 has VirusX 4.00. I checked the libs here and we don't currently have it available online. (Usually older versions are deleted when the newer ones become available.) If you have trouble finding it, post another message and possibly someone with the VirusX 4.00 file will be able to E-mail it to you. David PS – I don't have it readily available, but I might have it hiding on a floppy someplace. Be sure to let me know if you have trouble finding the Fish disk.

SShalom, Look in Library 5 of AmigaUser for LHARC.EXE. It unpacks the .LZH files. You might want to get ARCHLP.EXE, as well. It is an interactive tutorial that tells you how to use all of the major archiver programs for the Amiga. Betty

Thnaks for the reply. Could you upload the 4.0 version of virusx to lib15. Presently the version is 4.01 but there is no documentatio. The author suggests using 4.0 for a complete reference. If this is not possible, could someone explain how I could use the 4.01 version? Thanks Shalom
