Hi, I'am wondering if anybody has had trouble with the NEC Multisync 3D hooked up to the FlickerFixer. I just bought a 3D and it seems to be brighter on the right side than the left. Has anybody had this problem with the NEC 3D or could this be a problem with this combination. I had the FlickerFixer hooked up to a Nec Multisync II at first and it did not have that problem. Could this be a problem with the Nec 3D ? || BY THE **+++++ Judd Pape +++++** BY THE || . POWER OF THE AMIGA ******* 72017,1606 ******* POWER OF THE AMIGA ..

The 3D I bought needed to be degaussed. I went through three monitors before the dealer got a degausser. Other than that, no problems. My flickerfixer works just great with th emonitor. Douglas Bullard 71330,214

What do you mean, 'degaussed'? How would I know it needed it? –jp–seattle–

One side of my screen had a greenish or reddish tint which the built-in deguasser couldn't handle. Probable got stored next to a loudspeaker or something in the UPS truck, you never know. Easy to fix if you have a degausser….

Doug, Did it have to be degaussed when you first got it ? If it did then you should have called NEC. || BY THE **+++++ Judd Pape +++++** BY THE || . POWER OF THE AMIGA ******* 72017,1606 ******* POWER OF THE AMIGA ..

I did. They referred all service to the local NEC shop..they were very nice about it, (although puzzled, they had never seen it before) and fixed it promptly.

Judd, The problem does sound like it's monitor related. If your old setup works OK, that pretty well eliminates everything but the monitor. David
