Help! To any graphic gurus out there…. The computer lab at the veterinary college where I go to school re recently hooked up a scanner to a PC they have up there. It supports the following formats: 1. Pagemaker (TIFF) 2. PC Paintbrush 3. PCX 4. PDA 5. TIFF (Uncompressed, Modified G3, and PackBits) 6. Ventura (PCX) 7. Scan Gallery (TIFF) Does anyone know if I will ever be able to/am now able to perhaps port something that I scan on it over to my Amiga? Seriously out of bounds, Warren Briggs

I believe The Art Department or Art Department Professional has a module for importing TIFF files. –>Steve Bennett

Warren, ASDG's Art Department Professional (aka ADPro) can handle PCX files out of the box. The program is very ram hungry, so be certain to check into ram requirements before getting it. (at least 2 megs of FAST RAM is recommended, and more is better.) David

Thanks all for the swift replies! 🙂 I have a GVP with 2M arriving tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to convert some images. Thanks again…. Warren

One way I used to go from Mac scanner files to Amiga was convert to GIF on the "foreign" machine and use a GIF viewer on my Amiga. / / //ANDRE
