I most recently purchased the CDR 73M CD ROM reader. for Multimedia. All
the documentation states that I have purchased the regular CDR 73 (the one
with 150K/sec transfer and 300msec access times). I paid for the 73M to
get 300K/sec transfers and 280msec accesses!!! What gives?
I think you need to ask "what gives" to the company you bought the drive
from. I have found that many resellers, and even wholesalers, are not aware
of the difference between the "M" and non-M versions of the NEC's.
