I was hoping that wasn't the case. Do you happen to know of a 3 1/2" drive that can format to 30 megs without RLL? In all the ads I've read, I've seen very few drives listed as 3 1/2". Either there aren't many available, or I'm reading the wrong ads! Claude

Claude, All the 30 Meg drives I've seen (3.5" or 5.25") are merely 20 Meg drives using RLL to get the extra 50% capacity. right now, the most common HD size is 5.25", but that is changing rapidly. You'll soon see more and more of them. Don
