#MED lockup under DOS 2??

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had the same experiences I am having with MED. I am running MED (V3.11b) on an unaccelerated (68000) Amiga 500 with the 2.04 ROM installed. After a while, the MED screen just starts to ignore input; you can click with the mouse button, but nothing happens. The machine doesn't crash, or GURU or anything like that, but MED becomes unusable. At the same time, whatever sequence you were working on continues to play as if everything was OK. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Colin, You need to get MED v3.2. The earlier versions of MED had problems running under AmigaOS 2.04. It should be in the Libraries here somewhere — I'm sure I saw a posting saying that MED 3.2 had been uploaded. –dds (dales@teksce.SCE.TEK.COM) Whappeta-whappeta-Whap!

Yeh! I had that problem. Forget Med 3.11b. Get MED 3.20 It is fixed (but will probably be the last shareware version or any version for that matter.) The author plans upgrades only to the commercial product (OctaMed). Don't know where we can get it as it is sold overseas (Europe, England?) only. Rodger – via Whap!

I asked about it on Usenet a few days ago, and everyone told me that there was a MED 3.20 which worked with 2.0. It's available on ab20.larc.nasa.gov for people on the Internet. (While I'm glad that my tax dollars are indirectly funding an Amiga software repository, I'd be happier if they were funding an Internet connection for me…)

I have access to Internet – though it is somewhat erratic. If I can manage to get through, I'll get you a copy of MED 3.20

Thanks for the offer, but I found someone who's willing to mail me the disk. When I get it I guess I'll upload it here if nobody does it first. I guess Tymnet charges for half an hour aren't too much.
