#Filtering Waste water

Can it be true? I got a message stating that I could even learn how to
filter my kitchen waste water in this Forum. I have been entertaining an
idea for modifying my double sink. I thought maybe I could put a valve in
the drain that would send "clean" H2O to a storage/filtering system.
Anyone have any input?

Cynthia, the Gardener's Supply Company is selling a filtering system that
would work in your application. They are getting into the water business
with cisterns, filters, and like that. I'm going to be trying to set my
yard up handle all the waste water including black water in the next year
or two.
You're going to be doing _black_ water. Wow. I'd like to hear about that.
By the way, have you ever logged onto DIALOG? My husband has signed up to
access the Aerospace library, and I thought I'd check out the Ag stuff.
Anything special I should look into there?
Virginia, Dialog is a black hole of wonderful opportunities. I could spend
$1000 there in a weekend; if I had the $1000. I've spent many many hours
sorting out the databases and fantasying about being able to peruse and
wander around. In the end, it takes mucho bucks which I don't have. I
think it's fair to say that Dialog offers access to all the information and
knowledge in the world……and that's some statement.

I have a Dialog account, but like Jeff says in the next message, it is real
expensive, partly because it is relatively unfriendly…and that is from a
guy who does his own dBase and network hacking….
You can get about 90% of the Dialog stuff through CIS if you go in through
IQuest and the Business databases. It still ain't cheap though….
